The requirement for works in these facilities would range from minor renovations to major rehabilitation and possibly construction of new and/or reconstruction of existing facilities whose condition has fallen below minimum functionality
The activities in the Family Health Units (FHUs) and Family Health Centers (FHCs) will involve:
Specialist Practices, Radiology Unit, Laboratories, Emergency Rooms, Operation Theater, Inpatient Ward, Delivery Room, Pharmacy, Dental Unit, Public Health Services
The objectives of the Health Sector Reform Program Project as stated in the World Bank documents are:
(a) To improve population health status and well being through universal coverage to a basic package of primary health care and public health services; and
(b) To improve access to, efficiency, and quality of primary health care services.
