"With 1000 professionals, and experience with the design of 100+ km of metro lines, 55+ stations, 50+ inter station, 4+ depots, TBMs (SS, EPB), and related civil work projects, EHAF is one of the few one hand count regional and local firms that has the capabilities to bring qualified and experienced supervision and technical support staff to the Ramped project team when required. EHAF is ranked 17th among Top 20 Non US firms for PMCM services in 2012 and 120th among the top 225 International design firms in 2013 by Engineering News Record. EHAF started in 1978 as a sub to the designer of cairo metro Line 1 then as a consultant to the contractor and as a JV member for Cairo metro line 2 (20 station,21.6km) & line 3 (43.5 km, 3s station) phase 1, 2, 3 & 4. Currently EHAF is supervising Cairo metro Line 3 phase 1, 2& 3 and designing 336,000 m2 depot for line 4 (69.8 km and 57 stations). In Doha, EHAF has just finished the work on the design and estimation of the Green Line and red line south with one of the design build team bidders. EHAF is currently participating with the DB contractor for the study of Redline south elevated and at grade stations. In Abu Dhabi, EHAF has designed several multi story underground and overground parking facilities in Reem and Abu Dhabi islands. In KSA, EHAF is well acquainted to work with all authorities, and ministries through its infra and building projects in Riyadh and the Kingdom. Currently, EHAF is working directly with many ministries and public project. EHAF is one of the few firms with corporate resources that has witnessed the full life cycle of metro projects cycle from design, construction, long term operation, to overcoming major hard points and upgrading of metro lines in urban crowded city. Lessons learned from this life cycle will be an added value. In addition to this life cycle witnessing, EHAF earned a strong experience in construction documents and shop drawing review since it produced thousands of metro detailed drawings. From its long term experience, EHAF is familiar with separate multi-systems metro lines. EHAF is well acquainted with the French and Japanese system through its long collaboration with French and Japanese firms. This experience positions it for a quicker understanding the current design documents. EHAF is one of the resource hubs for metro experienced staff that have the Middle Eastern culture."
