The modern port is designed for passports and customs to accommodate the growing numbers and provide outstanding services to the arrivals and departures to and from the Kingdom. The port is designed to accommodate the expected increase until 2035 shares of 1009152 private cars, as well as 70.080 passenger buses.
The project includes 14 buildings between government buildings (Passports, Customs, administrative Buildings, and Checking Cars) and service buildings (Rest House, Toilets, Mosques, Cafeteria and Restaurants).
The ingenuity in the use of the latest design techniques and means of communication and control of the port, as well as the means of guidance for travelers, and the use of finishing materials and high-efficiency upscale appearance, gives the port a new image that rises to the level of airports.
