Embaba Bridge was originally constructed in 1924 as a combined “Railway and Road” bridge. The Embaba Bridge was meant to efficiently service trains, automobiles and pedestrians. During its Rehabilitation, EHAF was responsible for the examination of the main structure of the bridge which consisted of 6 steel arched truss fixed spans and 1 steel arched truss movable span. Each span composing a length of 70 meters compiling a total length of 490 meters.
