Inspired by the desert rose that grows organically around the original 20th century palace of Sheikh Abdullah Bin Jassim Al Thani and designed by the French architect Jean Nouvel, The National Museum of Qatar is currently under construction. The sprawling complex of interlocking disks is going to cost 434 million US Dollars. The 40,000 square meter museum is set to comprise 8,000 permanent Exhibition galleries and 2,000 m² of Temporary Gallery Space and landscaped park. EHAF is sub-consultant to Hill international providing construction supervision services to this historic project.
