Qatar Rail Authority and QDVC are developing an international mass transit system in Lusail City; the Lusail Light Rail Transit (LLRT) System is a part of integrated transportation system and Qatar’s National Vision. It will not only facilitate the visitors, employees, and residents of Lusail, but it will
also act as backbone for the transportation system during FIFA World Cup 2022. The LLRT project is grouped into three sections:
1) At-Grade section consists of 22.7 km at-grade and elevated track having 24 at-grade stations, one elevated station, two open-cut and two enclosed stations.
2) Underground section consists of 10.4 km of underground track having 8 stations.
3) Depot.
EHAF partnered with SENER providing the Design Verification Engineer (DVE) scope for all engineering disciplines including all interface with the governmental authorities, as well construction supervision.
