Steigenberger – QNB Al Ahli Mixed Use Complex is the newest projects in the heart of downtown Cairo, Egypt; the project composes of 4-star hotel “Steigenberger” having 295 keys and an administrative building having a total area of 15,000 sqm. EHAF scope was complete design starting from the pre-concept stage till the construction documents. EHAF was the construction supervision consultant as well. One of the major challenges in this project is the selected shoring system as the development is being constructed in the heart of Old Cairo with buildings being built since the early 1900’s so it prevented the occurrence of settlement to any of the surrounding buildings.
